From helping extremists fight their battles, to an influx of money into the industry, social media has been on everyone’s lips this week.

2. The Social Network
Shame fell upon Facebook this week as figures were released stating they only paid £4,327 in corporation tax last year. A massive thumbs down from us!

3. The end of spam!
Students at Harvard University this week created software that automatically scans social media sources such as Twitter for suspicious tweets, bringing an end to potential fraud.
