Happy 2nd Birthday to Vine

On Saturday, the six-second video sharing social media app will celebrate its 2nd birthday. With its milestone approaching it has already bagged 347,186,768,222 ‘loops’ across the whole Vine network. Remarkable.

Facebook set to surpass one billion mobile users

eMarketer have found that the social media website will bag its one billionth mobile user at some point during this calendar year. The research also suggested that come the end of 2015, almost 75% of ad revenue will be generated for Facebook via mobile.

Twitter product manager Paul Rosania revealed what it would be all about: “surface a few of the best tweets you probably wouldn’t have seen otherwise, determined by engagement and other factors.”
