Snack Media’s unique knowledge of sports rightsholders, fans and publishers allowed a unique digital activation campaign blending the best of fan content, real-time marketing and the creation of new digital rights with Arsenal Football Club.
During the campaign fans could interact with and enjoy:
- Branded live match content streams during 12 key Arsenal fixtures over the season – including every leg of the FA Cup defence.
- Real-time branded commentary from a Europcar Twitter handle on match days.
- Eye-catching social media campaigns and new digital rights that rewarded engaged fans with once-in-a-lifetime prizes such as playing on the Emirates Stadium
- Sponsored bespoke news ticker that treated Arsenal fans to up-to-date club news.
This season-long digital campaign measured success in a number of ways. Some highlight results include:
- 12.6m fan engagement minutes on branded live match content streams
- Our campaigns throughout the course of the season encouraged participation on specific campaign hashtags, which reached 17.2m Twitter accounts.
- Arsenal-specific content published on @EuropcarSport was RTed 10,826times over the season
- Over 50m display impressions delivered
