FC Bayern Munich this week released their own TV channel called FC Bayern.tv. The platform was launched on 27th February as a way to create their own linear TV channel in collaboration with their sponsor Deutsche Telekom. The channel will offer fans clubs news, backstage footage and new content in HD 24 hours per day.

Google has launched a new video conferencing application called ‘Meet’. The new application is designed to be the latest addition to Google’s business products known as G Suite. ‘Meet’ is a business-friendly alternative to Hangouts.

This week YouTube announced it will be launching its own streaming alternative to cable TV. The company called it ‘live TV for the YouTube Generation’. YouTube’s new TV streaming service will offer access to ABC, NBC and FOX TV channels. It will first be released in the US before becoming worldwide later in the year. The service will cost $35 per month.
