This week, YouTube have announced that they will be phasing out 30 second adverts. Instead they will be concentrating on shorter ads. YouTube hopes that by using the new format it will offer a better advertising experience for users and provide better results for advertisers.

Instagram have released a new feature on their App which allows users to post up to 10 images at once in a scrollable sequence. You can also post videos in this set. Instagram hopes that the ability to post scrollable sets of images on one theme will offer a greater user and follower experience.

Facebook announced this week that the analytics for their Apps tool is being used by 1 million different businesses, websites, Apps and bots. The Analytics App is a useful tool which allows users to measure and optimise customer experiences and online products.
