Snack Media and its partner, Digital Sport, have launched Digital Sport Recruitment, a specialist recruitment service for companies and candidates within the sports digital media sector. Digital Sport Recruitment will work with several sports organisations as clients, and will cover a range of job areas including content, social media, production, editorial and creative services.

Snapchat have released virtual football club themed face paint. 13 of the main European football teams received personalised bespoke, geo-specific lenses for fans to use whilst in and around the stadium. Some of the clubs included are Liverpool and Man City, with clubs being represented from France, Germany, Italy and Spain.

Facebook is trialling stories as a new feature places at the top of the news feed page. The initial test phase is being rolled out in Ireland, but in a statement the firm has said the new feature will be rolled out in more countries in the coming months. Facebook stories follows the same style as Snapchat and Instagram, with Facebook’s version allowing users to share a chronological slideshow of videos and pictures with their friends.

Twitter has replaced the Moments section with a new tab called “Explore”. The new feature will act as a base to find out what’s happening on Twitter, this tap will include trends, moments, a list of live video streams and a search bar. Within the Explore tab, you can discover various categories which include recent updates on Entertainment, Sports and News globally.

Cadbury has signed a three-year deal to sponsor the Premier League. The partnership between the two companies will be centred around the “moments of joy” the pair deliver to fans and customers. Cadbury’s sponsorship of the Premier League is their first ever partnership in football, this comes after the company sponsored the London 2012 Olympics.
