Snack Media, along with Sports Revolution, has worked closely with leading appliance manufacturer BEKO to launch a new family-focused initiative promoting a healthy, active lifestyle for children. ‘BEKO Mums United’ features a new Facebook community for parents wanting to help their kids stay fit and healthy by enjoying sport.

The campaign, created for BEKO by leading sports website publisher Snack Media and the sports media and marketing agency Sports Revolution, is fronted by the Sky Sports presenter, Kirsty Gallacher. On the site, www.facebook.com/bekomumsunited, Kirsty gives tips on everything from children’s nutrition to how to keep them busy during the school holidays.

The site also offers parents the chance to win football kit for their children’s team, free soccer coaching and up to £500 worth of BEKO household appliances. The fan page is being managed and marketed by Snack Media, building on the fact that sister company Sports Revolution has been the driving force in building BEKO’s connections with UK football.

As part of the launch campaign, BEKO Mums United has become the first official sponsor of the Football League’s new grass roots sports programme, Official Soccer Schools. Launching this month, Official Soccer Schools is a new network of coaching courses for kids, run by 16 clubs in the Football League.

In alliance with Snack Media, Sports Revolution is planning a fully integrated marketing campaign to raise awareness of Mums United and BEKO’s support for Official Soccer Schools.
