We are looking for a talented Social Media Manager to control our social media accounts. Snack Media, is a giant digital sports media network delivering expert knowledge in fan engagement and content creation. We own a number of brands and social channels such as Givemesport, Facebook’s biggest sports publisher page globally, making Snack Media one of the largest sports publishers in Europe. To fulfil the expectations outlined for this position, you will need to have a track record of driving results on social channels of at least 1 million followers or more.

In this role you will be required to develop and execute the social media strategy, setting objectives and KPIs, with the aim to grow our audience, engagement and increase revenue through the platforms monetisation products.



Help to deliver key company targets through compelling content strategies and audience engagement.

Responsibilities – General

  • Delivering KPI traffic and video targets
  • Strategy planning
  • Plan content and delivery
  • Plan and manage 24/7 posting strategy
  • Manage video and writing editors
  • Deliver audience insight
  • Driving both channel growth and retention
  • Delivering performance reports including the ability to interpret digital data
  • Assisting with content creation
  • Managing critical stakeholder relationships
  • Regularly liaise with content editors via telephone, email, conference calls or face-to-face
  • Creating strategies across paid social media channels, execution and testing


Responsibilities – Platform Specific

  • Create targets for all posts formats
  • Manage benchmarking reporting and identifying key competitors
  • Assist with identifying what are the key performance metrics
  • Identifying positive and negative trends (of output) for all post types (Output Trends)
  • Be aware of platform trends, discuss in detail at least once a month with Head of Social (Platform Trends)
  • Oversee the community management strategy for the editors to manage and develop the Givemesport community
  • Manage weekly and monthly editors meetings
  • Manage policy issues and ensure community guidelines are followed
  • Identify channel growth and revenue opportunities through all post formats (link, image and video)
  • Identify channel growth and revenue opportunities through content strategies (GEOs, interests or audience targeting)
  • Identify channel growth and revenue opportunities via organic and paid strategies
  • Deciding and managing the correct tone of the channel
  • Project manage any testing / experiments
  • Responsible for publishing brand safe content “


Required Skills

  • Must have great attention to detail and a can-do attitude
  • Well versed in the Facebook platform including all post type formats
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends and what our audience want to see
  • Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
