This is an incredible opportunity for a digital data analytics professional who is passionate about sports, to work for one of the UK’s largest digital sports publishers.

We’re looking for an inspirational, switched on creative minded Content / Data Strategy Manager who will report to the Marketing Director to develop and deliver strategies to drive growth, brand loyalty, engagements and retention across the business.  You will need to have a deep understanding of data and content strategies and how these impact the digital marketing channels that are relevant to our audience, including Social, Search, SEO, as well as experienced in liaising with the sales and content teams to produce performance reporting and recommendations.

The successful candidate will be expected to have at least five years experience working in analytical and content marketing environments with the confidence to express new ideas and influence people using strong analytical mindset and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver audience insight
  • Driving both acquisition and retention
  • Guide clients and teams with strategy and best practice
  • Creating strategies across paid social media channels, execution and testing
  • Support / manage pitches, clients, marketing campaigns and oversee the implementation of projects
  • Evaluating big data, customer research, market conditions and competitor data
  • Assist the business with research and insight and social media / PR
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing

Key Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of business experience across analytics, digital marketing and paid performance marketing
  • Analyse complex data sets to produce insights that guide strategic marketing decisions
  • Understand content and social metrics to develop unique, engaging solutions whilst maintaining brand tone and values
  • Expert experience in executing paid performance campaigns with proven track record on Facebook Paid
  • Excellent track record managing multiple digital touch points
  • Strong organisational, project management skills
