As 2020 finalist voting came to a close last week we announced that, for the first time, we had received over 1 million votes! We want to thank everyone who took the time to vote in both the nominations and finalists rounds.
This is an incredible milestone and shows how far we have come since the awards began in 2012. Throughout our nine-year history, it has been great to see the growing recognition for everyone involved in online football media and just how much it means to those shortlisted for an award.
Voting is now closed!

Anthony Cooper, founder of the awards, said: “In these unprecedented times it’s incredible to see the football community come together and take part celebrating the best organisations, teams and individuals creating football content online.
“After reaching over 850,000 votes in 2019, breaking the 1,000,000 barrier was one of our goals for 2020 and I’m overwhelmed by the response we’ve had once again.
“From our humble beginnings in 2012, we’re looking forward more than ever to putting on a show in November for this community and recognising and rewarding the talent this industry has to offer.”
The 2020 awards ceremony will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in November.
