Previous Formula One owners, CVC Capital Partners are said to be interested in purchasing 51% of the shares in Premiership Rugby worth a staggering £275 million. The teams in the top english rugby division would benefit from a takeover after a large proportion of them suffered large financial losses in the 2016/17 season. The decision will be made next week by the thirteen stakeholders, comprised of all twelve of the Premiership clubs and the Championship side, London Irish.

Colin Kaepernick, the first NFL player to kneel during the National Anthem in America, has been chosen as the narrator for the new Nike campaign, ‘Dream Crazy’. The short video features an array of famous sports stars as well as inspirational people such as Charlie Jabaley, who lost 120 lbs and reversed the growth of his brain tumour. The slogan behind the campaign reads, ‘Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything’.

Vimeo have launched a new video marketplace called vimeo stock which will provide incentives for new and existing members to create and buy more media. The video sharing site is offering a 70% split of stock sale in order to encourage content creators to supply more engaging content. Buyers will also receive a 20% discount off content. The idea behind it is said to be due to a shift in company vision away from video creation to selling content.
