Danny Cipriani made an impressive start on his debut for Gloucester. The team won 40-31 against the Dragons in a pre-season friendly last night. His disciplinary hearing was held on Wednesday where the panel supported their original decision for the charge of, ‘conduct prejudicial to the interest of the game’, but decided against any further punishment. Gloucester head coach, Johann Ackermann has backed the fly-half and urged Eddie Jones to consider him for England selection.
