This week Twitter released a range of new features for their Xbox One app which was first released in 2016. This allows users to view all live streams from their own TV screens absolutely free. These latest updates make for a much more integrated experience. Users with a Twitter account can now sign in, view their timeline as well as see commentary to other videos. Another new option is to watch two videos at the same time, side by side, allowing you to discover more content at once. On the Xbox app, you now have access to Periscopes global map. This provides users with a range of videos from all around the world.

Standard Chartered, Liverpool FC’s principal sponsor, introduced a digital campaign to commemorate the club’s 125th anniversary. The campaign consists of a series of short films that highlight significant stats in the clubs history. To attract fans to the content LFC legends, first team players and Jürgen Klopp were used to communicate the key figures to supporters.

Over the past few years, Facebook has been battling against fake news site. This week they released a full strategy which will ban adverts from publishers that repeatedly share the fake news. These new measures will aim to have two major effects on these sites. Firstly, distribution of fake news will dramatically fall. Secondly, these websites will see their revenue plunge as a result of traffic dropping.
