Snack Social Summary-Instagram adds replay feature on its live videos and Spotify unveils Facebook Messenger tool

Live video is a growing feature on all social media platforms, it allows more users to produce their own content. Instagram have updated this feature silently this week through the ability to replay live stories for the next 24 hours giving consumers the capability to share this content with their followers so no one misses it. By providing a replay function, it gets more creators using the live stream capabilities as well as boosting potential views on their videos.

Spotify has now introduced a new messenger bot which allows users to build a playlist with their friends via Messenger. The simply named ‘Group Playlists for Messenger’ is created through a current member of Spotify. Once a playlist has been built and named, this can then be shared into the group chat. All users can add songs even if you are not a Spotify user. The thumbnail allows you to preview all shared songs, delete and add below.

Twitter recently began to roll out a redesign of its mobile apps, sites and Tweetdeck with the aim of making the social network platform looking cleaner and less cluttered. As part of the update, Twitter is now enabling people to clear out ads on web pages opened within its iOS apps. Twitters’ in-app browser, will now block ads and tracking cookies from the page as its loading.
