Manchester City is the first Premier League club to use Snapchat Spectacles. The club is offering a unique behind-the-scenes perspective using the new devices, giving fans an inside look at all the match day action, including player arrivals and warm ups. The Snapchat spectacles activation marks the continuation of City’s efforts to be seen as the most innovative football club.

Instagram has introduced stickers to add to photos or videos, this feature will be available on iOS and Android. Instagram hopes that the introduction of stickers will encourage users to add context to a story. Users will be able to customise the sticker, choosing from different styles to match their mood. The feature also allows for stickers to be resized and placed anywhere on photos or videos.

Twitter announced this week that they will be transitioning the Vine App into a low-maintenance app called Vine Camera, instead of pulling the Vine app completely. The Vine Camera app will still allow you to record Vine videos but these will be saved to your camera roll or can be posted directly to Twitter. The Vine website will continue to live on, and users will be able to browse through videos created over the years. With the Vine Camera app, Twitter will attempt to move the Vine user base over to the to the Twitter Platform.

Facebook introduced group video chat on messenger this week. Facebook has released the Group Video feature as part of messenger becoming an all-in-one messaging app. All messenger chat users will have access to Group Chat, not just on mobile, also on desktop. You can group video chat with up to 50 friends at the same time, however, a maximum of 6 people can be seen on a screen at any one time.
