In the age of data being key to brand engagement Whatsapp has opened its doors and will now share data with Facebook. The news is a huge shift in its current terms and conditions and will mean that current company messages (e.g. flight notifications) will now be able to be sent through Whatsapp as the company shares mobile numbers. Rest assured though all messages stay private and encrypted.
