Facebook opens live-streaming feature to all
The social media news of this week comes from Facebook (who else?) who will allow live video feature to be used by all users. The feature named “Mention” is already available on the platform but only for verified accounts.
Spotting the gap in the market filled by the likes of Periscope and Meerkat, Facebook is currently testing the feature on some American users before most likely rolling it out across the world.
Get ready to make a collage!
Making waves in the digital world, Facebook also announced that it would roll out the new feature named “Facebook Collage“.
The new tool, which is set to be available soon on iOS followed by Android, will allow users to create and share moments all together in one album.
Facebook have probably had this week penned out to make some big announcements. Only time will tell whether they’re successful.
A new LinkedIn mobile app
On Tuesday, LinkedIn unveiled its new mobile app. The new design looks to be more simple and more similar to other social platforms’ mobile applications. Five tabs at the home page are now available to make the professional social network a lot easier to use on mobile.
In this new version, feeds target more on user interests and content shared by your network.
The new profile page displays more details about the user and, similar to the online version, the cover photo is more exposed so hurry and make sure your photo is LinkedIn appropriate.
