Since 15th August 2015, the NHS and Give Blood have launched their new campaign encouraging the public to register as blood donors.
With backing from Rugby stars such as Jonny Wilkinson, Martin Johnson and Matt Dawson, the campaign has been influential in encouraging more people to give blood.
It’s clear that social media has been hugely effective in boosting this wonderful message, with 64% of the 100,000 people target already met.
