Top 5 Football FanCast Moments of 2014

Mary Varney - 18th December 2014 - 0 comments

What a year it’s been to be Editor-in-Chief of Football FanCast. We’ve expanded our editorial team exponentially including an office in Bangkok, our readership has grown and with it our standing within the Beautiful Game, and we’ve even won an award.

It’s been a real rollercoaster and while there were times when toiling away covering a 0-0 bore draw or hogging the telly on a Saturday (much to the annoyance of family and friends) has been difficult – the team’s commitment and hard work has certainly paid off.
Our LIVE blogs have gone from a trial we ran in our spare time to the site’s USP and the reason we’re mixing it with the big boys commercially, while the site’s look, content and reputation continues to get better and better.
From the sub editors to the writers, the LIVE bloggers to the content capturers we’ve pulled together to make something really special – long may it continue in 2015.
– Greg Newcombe, Editor in Chief of Football FanCast
