Week #4

Week 4 was a really busy week for me. I covered a new range of tasks and took on new responsibilities which although were hard, felt rewarding after they had been completed. I feel that after my first four  weeks that I am  really settling and feeling more comfortable in the tasks that I am required to do.

My tasks

This week I had to learn to use new programmes such as Hootsuite, which I used to help monitor and run Football FanCast’s Twitter account. This was challenging as I had to help make sure content got out to the right people at the right times. As well as this, I continued to input content into the CMS for the Football Rumours app. Sourcing this information is a task I really enjoy.

Highlight of the Week

My highlight of the week  was attending an event at the BT Tower. I had the opportunity to go to the preview screening for the film, “The Crazy Gang”, the famous Wimbledon team who beat Liverpool in the FA Cup Final in the 80’s against monumental odds. I got to meet some of the players and staff from the club which was a brilliant opportunity for me.
