Huge update for Instagram

Instagram have introduced five new filters as part of it’s revamp this week. Users can also manage their filters by re-ordering or hiding ones they don’t want to use.

76% use social media for holiday gift discovery

In 2013 only 65% percent of holiday gifts were discovered on social channels and, whilst social has grown, TV and magazines have both seen a decline in inspiration.

Facebook drops Bing

Facebook has moved away from search engine, Bing, in favour of its own search engine. This is in line with Facebook updating its search tool for dated posts, as well as changing the way people view its real-time content.

Bebo is back!

Bebo has officially relaunched as a cartoon-messaging app. Users will no longer use real-life photographs but instead create cartoon avatars.

Elements of Instagram appear on Facebook

Now when you upload your photos to Facebook you will see a slight change. Facebook iOS app now automatically applies filters and changes the contrast on your photos to make them more attractive.
