nfl-logoSnack Media are delighted to announce that the company has recently signed a deal with the NFL.com – the official website serving America’s most popular sport – to sell UK digital advertising.

American football resides above baseball, basketball and hockey as the United States’ favourite pastime and the sport has even crossed the pond for several promotional events in the past such as two sell-out events hosted at Wembley Stadium, opening up the spectacle to an entirely new audience ready to enthusiastically engage.

Twinned with the prevalence of highly anticipated events such as the Super Bowl being aired on both Sky Sports and terrestrial television, this has contributed to massive increases in digital traffic to NFL.com.

With site figures rising by as much as 78 per cent since 2010, this fact alone has paved the way for Snack Media to forge an effective partnership in driving commercial revenue.

With NFL.com video content receiving a mighty 12 million views last year, Snack Media are thrilled to ride the wave of enthusiasm and intrigue surrounding a sport that is most definitely set to broaden its global reach beyond the States as we head into the future.

The NFL’s International Media Director of Business Development, Michael Markovich explained of the deal: “We are seeing great traffic from the UK to NFL.com, ranking it one of our top three international markets. We expect this growth to continue as we continue to invest in the market.

“Sports Revolution and Snack Media have expert knowledge of both UK advertising and UK sports fans so we are very pleased to partner with them.”
