FootballFanCast.com is becoming a regular fixture at the St Andrew’s stadium in Birmingham and were on the advertising hoardings once again in the fourth round of the Carling Cup on Tuesday night as Premier League outfit Birmingham City hosted League One club Brentford.
The match was certainly a gripping one, with the scores level after extra time as Birmingham’s Kevin Phillips scored a last gasp equaliser at the end of 90 minutes. The Blues eventually went to win 4-3 on penalties to progress to the fifth round of the tournament.
But we’d like to pay a special thanks to Brentford’s Sam Wood for putting the League One club 1-0 up with a superb volley as FootballFanCast.com was featured in the background. Here’s a still of the great goal and even better boards:
