If you didn’t see the hashtag #LoveTwitter on your Twitter timeline yesterday, you simply mustn’t use the platform. However, just in case you did miss it, Twitter celebrated its 10th birthday on Monday with the aforementioned hashtag invading our timelines.
Despite the social media network experiencing somewhat of a tough 12 months (low users growth, investors discontent about benefits as well as user complaints about the latest features etc), the whole platform saw a love-in across the network and reminded us of how much we all use it everyday.
Throughout the day and across its different accounts, Twitter celebrated turning 10 around the world.
Starting in ???????? on 3/21 and moving across the ????, we thank you for 10 incredible years.

To celebrate its 10 candles, Twitter not only rolled out the hashtag #LoveTwitter but also released an accompanying emoji (of course) and what else to show its pride than the famous blue bird joined by a heart. That was a real hit with the Twitter world.
Via its different accounts dedicated to different areas, the social platform enjoyed the event with users starting with messages to famous people and loyal users ranging from Taylor Swift to NBA superstar Chris Paul and followed that up with messages of thanks to users with nice visuals.
Thank you, @taylorswift13 for celebrating love and sharing your stage with us every day. #LoveTwitterhttps://t.co/mfkSawqfLK

Evidently, Twitter was not alone to celebrate its birthday. With more than 320 million monthly active users, many famous football clubs, brands or athletes posted a tweet to share their love for the blue bird. Others users instead shared their best memories on Twitter, like Indian cricket journalist Harsha Bhogle, or their first post on the platform including New York City FC.
