The Daytona 500 was won by Joey Logano this past weekend for the first time in his career. The race had some controversy as with three laps to go, Justin Allgaier crashed out of the race leaving Logano in pole position to claim his first Daytona trophy. NASCAR has had some rough patches this week involving the pending retirement of Jeff Gordon and a dangerous accident involving Kyle Busch breaking his leg and foot, but neither hindered fans from erupting on Twitter about the new Daytona winner.
