Introduction
This was my third week at Snack Media and I have been enjoying every minute of it. I have learnt new things as well as becoming better friends and more outgoing with all of my co-workers which is a lot of fun. Another surprise is that my transport here has been less frequently delayed, which is always a bonus!
My Tasks
My week started off as exciting as I finished the previous, with me taking on other tasks such as helping run the new live 24/7 blog on the Football FanCast website, The Magic Sponge, as well as helping run the UK Festival Awards Twitter account and live blog using ScribbleLive which I learnt to use recently. I am now running the Instagram account for Football FanCast which seemed quite daunting at this stage of the job.
Highlight of the Week
My highlight of the week was definitely going to the UK Festival Awards. The set looked amazing and seeing all the different companies as well as knowing that I helped contribute to this event made me feel honoured to have been a part of it. It was fun to work in a team, helping out with content capturing and helping update the Twitter account during debates. My other highlight was trying to find viral content for The Magic Sponge, as it very much coincides with my sense of humour and so being able to source funny videos as part of a job is nothing to complain about!
