Snickers’ first reaction to the Luis Suarez bite at the World Cup was a brilliant piece of marketing. The timing (morning after the event) enabled for high reach and engagement levels.

Samsung developed a particularly impressive campaign which ridiculed competitors Apple. In the wake of the iPhone 6 allegedly “bending” in consumers pockets, Samsung designed this advert to show the strength and supremacy of their own product.

Surrey Police came up with a humorous and well-meant message to help protect people whilst they were on holiday. With brands, such as 3, telling people to tweet whilst they were away, Surrey Police designed the hashtag #BragWhenBack to help avoid burglaries.
Sorry @ThreeUK & @virginholidays you’re both wrong, we say #BragWhenBack! Don’t let burglars know you’re away… pic.twitter.com/Y9OT3ZBKvK

Another brilliant brand reaction to Luis Suarez’s World Cup bite was by Trident, the chewing gum brand, with their short but sweet and to the point advert.
Chew Trident. Not soccer players. #ITAvsURU
